Pink Trout roe comes from freshwater trout caught in the smaller inland lakes of the USA.
With an assertive, bold flavor, these firm, translucent pink berries have what looks like a tiny orange eye in the center. These medium-grained roe that have a tendency to be slightly sticky. So, we recommend that you serve it with a little crème fraiche or stirred into a dip.
